Boston Almanac for the Year 1850.
Boston: Mussey & Co. and Thomas Groom, 1850. Stiff Boards. Includes illustrated feature on Public Improvements such as the Water Works, new city jail, new custom house and the new Boston Athenaeum. These tended to be heavily used and suffered for it, this is one of the best condition Almanacs we've had. Very Good+. Minor shelf/edge wear, light soiling, a touch of unusal wear to the 'foredge' of the foldout map, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Green ribbed cloth boards, in blind decorative elements to both boards, gilt lettering and decorative elements, printed glossy endpages [adverts], fold out dated map of Boston (1850). 12mo. 216pp. Illus.
