March 2013 marked 450 years since Foxe's 1563 publication. Foxe's first edition capitalized on new technology (the printing press). A later and modified edition. Very Good. Moderate rubbing, shelfwear, bumping to extremities, shaken spine, exposed netting at majority front hinge, but intact. Spine rubbed, as head/tail, toning/spotting/foxing throughout, dogearred, else tight, bright, and unmarred. 8vo. iv., 515pp.illus (b/w). Full blindstamped decorative calf with gilt titling to spine.
