These wonderful little books were printed on very cheap paper, bound in an equally cheap manner but wonderfully illustrated...thus they are a jem but seldom found in acceptable condition...this one better than average. Overall, a nice copy of a rather scarce volume. Good+. No DJ. Moderate shelf wear, through at corners, split at head and heel of front hinge (some related curling), front joint starting, leaves show even toning, crayon on front endpages and half-title, first image hand colored, penciled pagination on first 52 pages, else tight, bright and unmarred. Blue textured paper boards, silver gilt lettering and decorative elements. 32mo. np. Illus. (b/w plates). Item #2441
