The 1946-47 Fantasy Review.

Dover, New Jersey: VAMPIRE [Joe Kennedy], 1947. First Edition. Staplebound Wraps. Also known as Vampire Annuals, these were yearbooks published by Joe Kennedy, editor of Vampire. Jack Speer called them “memorable examples.” In January 1947, New Jersey’s Joseph Charles (“Joe”) Kennedy published the 1946-1947 Fantasy Review, the second in his series of yearbooks covering the field. Along with his own perspective, Kennedy presented the results of a survey that captured the opinions of 78 science fiction fans of the day. Caveats apply; e.g. the sample appears to be entirely from the United States and Canada — but the poll offers at least one window into sentiments at the time about the prominent science fiction and fantasy writers of the time. Very Good+ in Wraps. Light toning and creasing, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Green printed wrappers printed on green paper mimeograph. 8vo. 76pp. Illus. (b/w). Handnumbered copy no. 152 of 175.
