Includes 13 superb engraved illustrations by George Cruikshank. Noted flaws notwithstanding, a presentable (and repairable) set of this minor classic. Good- (Textblock Very Good). Moderate shelf/edge wear, spine darked and dry (likely exposed, shelved, to a house fire), spine labels missing, all joints tender and/or split, front board of V2 free, light sporadic foxing, focused at preliminaries, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Signed full tan leather binding, five raised bands, gilt lettering, marbled endpages, tissueguard, teg. 8vo. 288; 263pp. Illus. (b/w plates). Item #10677
