Includes two manuscript eulogies, or remembrances and an unbound selection of the Common Book of Prayer: At the Burial of the Dead" is the name for the funeral service in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), which contains prayers, scripture readings, and hymns for the occasion. The service includes prayers for the deceased, the mourners, and the blessing of the grave, with specific passages focusing on themes of resurrection, hope, and the promise of eternal life.
"Rememberance" is a handwritten memorial poem, written by [Jennie L. Miller], East Granville, August 3rd, 1875. [New England]
"For Sarah" is a handwritten memorial poem, written by Sarah A. Fuller, Webster, March 27, 1836. In a paper embellished frame.
