New York: Netherlands Information Bureau (New York, N.Y.), c.1942. First printing. An American World War II propaganda poster depicts a traditionally dressed Dutchman cutting the cord of an SS-man yelling into the microphone, under a flag with a swastika. Oscar Fabrès (1894 – 1960) was a Chilean illustrator of children’s books and a commercial artist. He studied art in Paris and settled in New York in 1940. Very Good. Moderate dampstaining damage, fold lines, pinholes to top and bottom, else bright and clean. Cardstock paper. Red, blue, black. Approx. 30x19" Item #13899
