The first few pages discuss palmistry and studying the body's signals for illnesses and other maladies, astrological horoscopes, how to make talismans, dream analysis, and prophetic palmistry. The term 'gypsy' is often fetishizing Romani “gypsy” culture as exotic and mysterious. The Romani people have been subject to exploitation and discrimination in Europe and Asia; much of the divination and fortune-telling milieu is fabricated by Western society, although the Roma spiritual belief is quite eccentric and complex.
