Luxembourg Resists Aggressors.
c.1942. First printing. "Luxembourg Resists Aggressors" is a famous World War II propaganda poster created by artist A.W. Peel. It depicts Luxembourgish workers flying their national flag emblazoned with the slogan "Mir Wolle Bleiwe wat Mir Sin" (Luxembourgish for "We want to remain what we are") to defy Nazi occupation. "A. T. Peel" was the pseudonym used by Czech illustrator and caricaturist Antonín Pelc (1895–1967) during World War II. Fleeing Nazi-occupied Europe for the United States, he became celebrated for his fierce, anti-fascist political cartoons and pro-Allied propaganda posters. Very Good.
