[EXPLICIT] Graphically compelling, Tom of Finland deconstructed gay sexuality by illustrating homoerotic love as glorious and often flirting with both consent and violence. In 1965, Tom of Finland began flirting with the idea of an ongoing character for his panel stories, the ultimate Tom’s Man. Influenced by the success and inclusivity of Tom of Finland, Bill Schmeling started as an active American cartoonist in Portland, Oregon, since the 1960s. He initially worked for magazines like Physique Pictorial under the pen name Torro, but later became known as "The Hun". Under his pen name, he made a couple of pornographic gay comic books, full of masculine blokes, brutal and violent sex and human fluids. Returning characters are the prisoner 'Big Sig' and the barbarian 'Gohr'. He passed away in his hometown Portland, Oregon, in September 2019. Very Good.
