New York: Raymond Loewy/William Snaith, circa 1978. This item was rescued from the abandoned Forbes and Wallace department store in Springfield Mass. around 1978. It is believed to be part of a proposal for interiors of an unrealized suburban branch. This plate was initialed by Mr. Loewy, implying it was finalized. Overall, a very nice item. Near Fine. Greasestick notation on plastic sheath, small watermark in upper corner (will be covered by mat), else bright and clean. Approx. 11"x24". Illus. Item #3055
