Paris: Les Editions Du Chene, 1948. First Edition. Original Wraps (Portfolio). Enrico Glicenstein (24 May 1870 – 30 December 1942) was a Polish-born sculptor who lived in Italy and the United States. This portfolio features sculpture, wood carving and bronze casting, and Jewish art and sculpture. Glicenstein is one of the pioneering sculptors responsible for reviving the art of direct carving and is an artist who adheres to techniques that respect the integrity of the medium and material.
