Based upon the limited edition, "Old Papermaking", this volume covers the same period, but in a much more comprehensive manner. A very handsome copy, inscribed by the author. Two owner bookplates at front pastedown, ghost image of laid in newsprint at ffep, signed by the author at titlepage, fore-edge of fold-out frontispiece shows light creasing/rumple, else tight, bright and unmarred.
